Sophie Henderson is a screenwriter, theatre-maker and actor. Her first screen-play, FANTAIL, in which she also starred, was nominated for 8 NZ Film Awards including best actress and screenplay. It had its international premiere at Rotter-dam in 2014, and won a People’s Choice Award at MIFF. She is currently devel-oping her project MANHUNT as a feature film and as a play with Silo Theatre. Sophie has worked extensively for Silo as an actor and was named Metro’s Best Actress in 2009 and 2014 for her work in THE SCENE and BELLEVILLE. In 2015 Sophie worked in the script department for the miniseries THE BEAUTI-FUL LIE and is developing a new Australian TV drama with story producer Alice Bell. Returning to NZ this year, Sophie was nominated for the WIFT Woman to Watch Award and is a member of the Script to Screen board.
